Emm... tulisan ini aku post buat yang belum tau aja deh, hehehe itung - itung mengulas pengetahuanku yang dulu.

Menurut WHO (1982)
Semua zat padat, cair maupun gas yang dimasukan kedalam tubuh yang dapat merubah fungsi dan struktur tubuh secara fisik maupun psikis tidak termasuk makanan, air dan oksigen dimana dibutuhkan untuk mempertahankan fungsi tubuh normal

NARKOTIKA
Zat/ obat yang berasal dari tanaman atau sintetis maupun semi sintetis yang dapat menurunkan kesadaran, hilangnya rasa , mengurangi sampai menghilangkan rasa nyeri dan dapat menimbulkan ketergantungan.

PSIKOTROPIKA
Zat/obat alamiah atau sintetis bukan narkotika yang berkhasiat psikoaktif melalui pengaruh selektif pada susunan syaraf pusat yang menyebabkan perubahan khas pada aktifitas mental dan perilaku


Zat adiktif
Bahan lain bukan narkotika atau psikotropika yang pengunaannya dapat menimbulkan ketergantungan baik psikologis atau fisik. Mis : Alkohol , rokok, cofein.

Sejarah Narkoba

• Hypocrates , dan jaman romawi telah menggunakan opium sbg obat tidur
  
• Diduga abad ke 15 telah digunakan oleh suku Indian dalam upacara ritual
  
• Abad ke 17 : ganja diperkenalkan oleh Belanda
  
• Thn 1860 ganja ditanam di Jawa dan Sumatra
  
• Thn 1909 Amerika melarang penggunaan opium/candu
  
• Thn 1960 heroin , morphine, barbiturat, amphetamine, cocain telah ditemui di Jakarta dan Bali
  
• Thn 1970 ditemui morphine yang di suntikan, mulai adanya pengobatan terhadap pengguna
  
• Thn 1990 mulai golongan amphetamine muncul secara besar-besaran mis : ekstasi

Narkoba secara Global

 Penggunaan Narkoba di Dunia:

• UNODC menyatakan bahwa 200 juta orang di seluruh dunia mengguna narkoba terlarang
• Sekitar 15 juta menggunakan opium dan heroin
• 34 juta mengalami ketergantungan pada amphetamine
• 5 juta pada cocaine

Penggunaan Jarum Suntik & HIV/AIDS di Dunia

• Diperkirakan terdapat 13.2 juta pengguna jarum suntik di dunia.
• Penggunaan jarum suntik sudah dilaporkan di 134 negara
• Di 114 di antaranya melaporkan adanya HIV di kalangan pengguna narkoba suntiknya
• Epidemi di kalangan pengguna narkoba suntik menunjukkan adanya keragaman pada berbagai tingkat, tingkat regional maupun tingkat negara
• Epidemi di kalangan pengguna narkoba suntik menyumbang banyak pada epidemi di Asia

Sekilas tentang IDU :

• Penggunaan narkoba dengan jarum suntik

Narkoba dan pengaruhnya pada otak :

• Narkoba mempengaruhi cara kerja Sistem Saraf pusat (SSP) dan Sistem Saraf Tepi (SSO)
• Otak adalah organ yang menerima, memberi informasi
• SSP mengendalikan beberapa fungsi tubuh tek darah, denyut jantung, nafas (shg ikut berpengaruh bila menggunakan)
• Otak mempunyai ribuan sel yang menerima pengaruh narkoba yang bisa berbeda pada tiap orang sehingga bisa menghasilkan efek yang tidak sama pada setiap pengguna.

Tujuan seseorang menggunakan narkoba?

Tujuan mereka mencari hal-hal yang menyenangkan, merubah perasaan atau mood (suasana hati) bagi orang tersebut

Bagaimana Narkoba mempengaruhi seseorang?

Tergantung dari :

• Dosis/banyak jumlah obat
  
• Frekwensi penggunaan
  
• Konsentrasi Obat/kandungan bahan
  
• Suasana hati/ mood ketika menggunakan

Cara Narkoba digunakan :

• Dimakan, dihisap, dihirup melalui hidung, disedot melalui hidung,
• Ditempel kekulit, disuntikan
• Melalui dubur
• dll
