Eddie Palmieri, Grammy Award winning pianist, bandleader and musician who for over half a century has been one of Latin jazz's most dynamic and influential figures, plays at Ronnie Scott's in April with one of Americas hottest Latin jazz and salsa bands, the AfroCaribbean Jazz All Stars.
From his early '60s recordings with his band La Perfecta, to recording with Cal Tjader, the Fania All-Stars and Harlem River Drive in the '70s, he was an essential driving force in the development of a unique New York Latin sound and he is renowned for his own dynamic improvisations and virtuoso playing.
A true legend, Palmieri appears here with a world-class band featuring Philip Dizack (trumpet), Louis Fouché (saxphones), Jose Claussell (timbales), 'Little Johnny' Rivero (congas) and Luques Curtis (bass).
